Sitting at the centre of a series of historic buildings which are of significant importance to Hong Kong, the Armani Headquarters was commissioned to replace Swire House. It was the first in a series of rebuilds and renovations that would redevelop the existing area. The redevelopment would see the buildings connected via a series of bridges, which we ensured created a seamless, endless retail centre of high-end brands with 24-hour public access from the Harbour to the Mid-Levels or Lan Kwai Fong.
While Armani took a majority of the headquarters, the podium’s architecture was dedicated to the high-end retail brands; we worked closely with such brands as Bulgari to ensure their façade and interiors matched their brand parameters.
